The law may differ depending on where you live. We want to make sure your will is right for your location.

An Executor is the person or professional service provider you appoint in your Will to administer your estate after your death.
LifeDocs’ Will allows you to include up to three Executors.
How many executors would you like to name in your will? (Max. 3)

What is the executor’s relationship to you? For example, they might be your wife or husband.

What is the first executor’s relationship to you? For example, they might be your partner or spouse.

What is the second executor’s relationship to you? For example, they might be your wife or husband.

What is the first executor’s relationship to you? For example, they might be your wife or husband.

What is the second executor’s relationship to you? For example, they might be your wife or husband.

What is the third executor’s relationship to you? For example, they might be your wife or husband.

One Alternative Executor may be nominated in the event that the primary Executor predeceases you or is otherwise unable or unwilling to act.

What is your alternative executor’s relationship to you? For example, they might be your wife or husband.

A replacement Director should be nominated where you are the director of a company or family Trust, if the company or trust rules allow. You may nominate your Executor as the replacement Director.

Do you want to appoint a replacement director of your company or family trust upon your passing if the company or trust rules allow?

Would you like to appoint your executor(s) as your replacement director(s)?

What is the replacement director’s relationship to you? For example, they might be your wife or husband.

Gifts of personal property are deducted from your residual estate before it is distributed to amongst the beneficiaries.
Assets held as joint proprietors or owned as part of a family trust or superannuation may not form part of your estate.
For example, you may wish to leave your car or jewellery to your daughter.
Do you want to gift specific personal items to anyone? (Max. 5)

How many gifts of personal property do you want to make?

Gifts of money are deducted from your residual estate before it is distributed to amongst the beneficiaries.
Would you like to gift money to anyone or make any donations to charity? (Max. 5)
For example you may wish to leave your best friend $1,000, or make a donation to a charity.

How many cash gifts or donations do you want to make to people or charities?

Is the first cash gift to a charity or a person?

Is the second cash gift to a charity or a person?

Is the third cash gift to a charity or a person?

Is the fourth cash gift to a charity or person?

Is the fifth cash gift to a charity or a person?

A beneficiary is a person receiving a gift or portion of the estate under a Will.
Your residual estate is the remainder of your estate once all debts and expenses have been paid and specific gifts have been distributed. Your residual estate will be distributed to the beneficiaries you nominate in this step.
Where the residual estate is to be distributed to more than one beneficiary, the LifeDocs Will provides that this distribution is made equally amongst each beneficiary.
After making the above gifts of property and money, how many people do you want to share in what’s left of your estate? (Max .5)

If a beneficiary passes away before you or before they reach the vesting age do you want to give the beneficiary’s share to their children?

What is the first beneficiary’s relationship to you? For example, they might be your son or daughter.

What is the second beneficiary’s relationship to you? For example, they might be your son or daughter.

What is the third beneficiary’s relationship to you? For example, they might be your son or daughter.

What is the fourth beneficiary’s relationship to you? For example, they might be your son or daughter.

What is the fifth beneficiary’s relationship to you? For example, they might be your son or daughter.

If your sole beneficiary predeceases you or is otherwise unable to receive an allocation from your estate, we recommend you appoint an alternate beneficiary.
Would you like to appoint an alternative beneficiary?

What is the alternative beneficiary’s relationship to you? For example, they might be your niece or nephew.

Do you want exclude anyone from your will?

For example, you might want to exclude your ex-partner if you have already provided for them in a divorce. You can’t exclude anyone that you have a duty to look after.

You can exclude up to three people.

If you have any children who are under 18 years of age you can nominate one or two guardians to look after them after your death.

Do you have a spouse or partner who will care for your children at the time of your passing?

You can name up to two guardians to look after your children.

What is the first guardian’s relationship to you? For example, they might be your brother or sister.

What is the second guardian’s relationship to you? For example, they might be your brother or sister.

If you select ‘yes’, it is important that you discuss this with your family and loved ones early to make sure that your wishes are carried out.
